I had to pull everything down to my ankles and bend over the receptionist's lap for my shots. I never cried and don't think I ever shouted or made a fuss because she usually praised me for being brave. The shots often hurt so much I couldn't sit down later but the embarrassment of having a girl watch me get them in the bare bottom was the worst part, especially when I was in my teens.

I am 19 and just two big shots in my butt. I had a bug bite on my arm that got infected. I went to the ER where I was told I had a severe infection. The malenurse came in carrying a syringe filled with a yellow medication. I am 110 pounds and he took one look at me and said this has to go in your butt. It is 3 cc's. I can give it to you in one shot , but you will have trouble walking or sitting or I can give half in each hip. I opted for the two shots. I unzipped my jeans and lowered them . I had on a thong so all of my butt was totally exposed. He came over and started rubbing my left cheek and then quickly stuck the first needle in my hip making me jump. Once a I relaxed he started to slowly inject. It felt like he was putting liquid fire in my hip. I asked him to give me a few minutes before the next injection. He slowly massaged my hip until the pain subsided. Then once again I jumped as he poked me with the needle. I had tears in my eyes when he was done. He rubbed my hips for the next few minutes and helped me get my jeans up. I hobbled around the room holding my butt for the next 15 minutes. I tried to walk out without limping so people would not know I had gotten the shots. Today I am at work and every time I sit down I am reminded how sore my butt is.

Although your message is addressed to Tom, his reply was to my experience.
I had to pull trousers and pants down to my ankles before bending over the receptionist's lap, so she saw everything I've got before the shot as well as when I stood up after getting it but I was most embarrassed about her watching me injected in my bare bottom and the humiliation became worse the older I got.
