I agree with Ron and Paul, the army knew how to process with a large group of draftees, for me it was in France for induction to mandatory military service in the last 60's.
On the first first day we had our hairs cut off in the morning and were given military clothes especially gym clothes,( no swimsuits because they were not already available) then on the after noon we were instructed to put our Pe clothes and then to strip completely in a large hall which had been equipped with medical material and then submitted all stark naked to a group physical examination with several medical stations( even when we might get out to go to a large restroom to pee in a lone in public on walls urinals for a urine test ) in front of military doctors and male military nurses and a few non commisioners officers to supervise us while waiting in line, we stayed naked for almost all the afternoon to be all examined without any privacy, no inductee was allowed to get out before all had been examined, so the time of waiting in the nude was very important, and it was " nuts to butts " under orders of non commisioners officers .
The second day we had some physical tests to do supervised by one military doctor and of course several non commissioners officers either in gym clothes, or in underwears or naked for check of the spine during exercices.
It was the third day that by group of about twenty, we were conducted again to the large hall and we might undress completely again and then lined up in front of two doctors for shots in the arms and in the butts after a station to check blood pressure ( no blood sample which had been checked at the first physical examination before) ; the first doctor performed the shots on the arms, and the second who was older and could have been our father the shots on each cheek of the butts, we were instructed to bend over a table and the doctor first palpated, squeezed and pinched the cheeks officially to find the spot to shot but obviously also for fun and show us who was the boss, he did commments in purpose to be heard by non commisioners officers present near him about the roundness and firmness or sweetness of the butt of each new inductee and then suddenly he gave a strong slap on one cheek which was enough painful to distract the attention of the inductee, it was the purpose as I was said later by a non commisioner officer, and just after he put the syringe into one spot of the other cheek, it was a trick ! and then it was the second shot on the other cheek which had been slapped and was more painful than the first because there was no surprise and the cheek had already red marks. When it was finished, a slight slap on the butt again and the order to get out, and the next inductee was coming and bending over, it went very fast without any lost of time or possible reluctance of an inductee to bend over, every young man might obey to instructions and did it, we stayed naked in line till the end of the shot process and could see the red marks on the butts of the other guys.
Fortunately thre was no female nurses present, it was made in an all male environment.
Next day a doctor came in the dormitory in the morning to check our butts but it was very fast, we were instructed to line up in front of our beds stark naked and to turn around He palpated the butts very quickly before giving us a slight slap on the butts again, we might not move until he had finished to check all the inductees of the dormitory.
I was told later that all was made in order to get us used to nudity in group very quickly, it was why we stayed naked for a long time just to wait.
I had noticed also later that the use of slaps on naked butts by non commisioners officers was very common and regular at showers area and without reason just to make us line up or move or stop.
