Subject: Pasteur Treatment, circa 50s to 80s

 Has anybody who posts here ever gone through the Pasteur treatment of abdominal injections or as a medical person, involved in administering these injections after a patient was exposed and/or bitten/scratched by a rabid or suspected rabid animal? I had the series in the late 50s at 9 1/2 years old.

I realize the majority of posts here deal with buttocks injections, which too can be fairly painful, but I doubt, anywhere near as excruciating as the stomach shots.
