I have asthma and my doc has offered me steroid shots before to help with my tightness, and I always said no because I hate needles and I have medical problems that make me have worse pain then other people so I know the shot would hurt really bad. I was thinking about next time I get sick asking my doc for a steroid shot to make me less tight faster but idk if I want to as I know it will hurt and I do not need added pain. has anyone had a steroid shot before and if so do they hurt bad? and can the steroid shot be given in the arm or the tight? that would make it either for me if it can be given in one of those 2 spots?

for those of you who think is post is fake and made up it is not at all that. I get asthma flares and bronchitis so bad at times that my doc wants to call an ambulance for me from his office. I get so tight that my doc is always worried about me and that is why he offers me a steroid shot so I can get better faster. usually I get 1 round of pred to take at home and if still really tight or coughing really bad he will offer me the steroid shot to try and help calm my bad breathing issues down. I know my doc means well and is looking out for me but I always say no as I have a big needle phobia and I have a low pain tolerance as well.
