I see a lot of us on here are interested in b-12 injections, well here in the states its hard and possibly even illegal to obtain without an rx. So I turned to what the prop department on movie sets use, retractable syringes with blunt tips ! They are expensive, but if you search "prop retractable syringe" you will see them near the 100 dollar range. Its super realistic, looks like your plunging a needle into the skin and injecting the liquid as it hides inside the syringe. You can use it to go through the ritualistic baring and rubbing alcohol procedures.Im even looking into making my own custom vials, let your imagination run wild !

Other than that, would anyone be interested in hearing about the one and only time I ever got a steroid shot (along with the blister pack) in the butt at the dermatologist ?

Always had some kind of eczema as a kid, and a nickel sensitivity. This meant the metal from my belt buckle, most body washes and laundry detergents would cause me to break out. Calamine lotion and cortisone creme were staples.

My mom was fed and angry because she felt it was my fault as I was not using the creames, itching until red and raw and not really caring about it. So she made an appointment with the dermatologist. My cousin had been to the ER for a random bout of hives before this, and when she got back she talked about how she got a shot in her butt, so I for some reason knew exactly what would happen.

So my grandparents took me, and I distinctly remember trying to tell them "when I go in there I want to be alone" And they were like oh no we have to be in there for permission reasons. I tried and tired but we all went in together, my grandpa and my grandma. A guy came in and listened to my issue and looked at my rashes, then the doctor himself came in, told me id be getting a pill regiment and a steroid shot, walked out then back in later with like 3 nurses, no clue why that many. She goes "this one's not going in the arm hunny" and I had to get off the exam table I was sitting on and turn around and she pulled my red shorts down a bit and I got the shot. After my grandparents said "well we can see why you didnt want us in there but we had to be" One of them could have stayed out now that I think about it years later. I was 13 at the time
