 Vivian, being a pediatric nurse who has been giving injections in boys and girls behinds as you said, does it turn you on personally in a sexual manner somehow to give children injections? If it does, tell us exactly all the steps action for action you take before to prepare the syringe, what you feel like pushing the plunger of medicine into that behind, what it makes you feel like after you remove the needle from their behinds and what you do to help calm them down. I don’t think Beth meant everyone to believe that her son being injected was something that gave him such pain was pleasurable to her, but was simply stating the fact that her child’s behind was cute. There should have been a true separation of the two sentences so that the readers would not misunderstand what Beth meant to convey.

Thanks for your honesty, Vivian, and suspicions confirmed!
A medical receptionist once told me that her favourite part of the job was holding boys across her lap for buttock injections. When I had to get injections like that (up to about age 15), I felt so humiliated at the thought of a girl watching me get a shot in my bare bottom as to take my mind off the injection itself, so the embarrassment could have been an intentional distraction.
