If you find it upsets your stomach, eat before you take it. On the first dose you take 2, then 1 a day thereafter. Unless someone is seriously ill, there is no reason for a shot. At least in New York we think this way...I haven't seen a doctor give a Penicillin shot in a longgggg time. Try Cipro or Keflex. Let your doctor decide. There's no guarantee that even a shot will work.
