As you surmise, notwithstanding embarrassment, the buttock is by far the least painful place to be injected and, when bending over, one can't see what is happening. I work in a Walgreens and if they ask to get the shot in their butt I simply take them to the bathroom, I bare their bottom and give them the shot. What shots are you needing and how old are you? Not trying to be personal but are you slim, medium? What state do you live in. Remember these are not nurses giving you the injections. I would go to a place where a nurse is giving you the injection. if you are getting a DTAP-tetanus I would ask to get it in your butt. As you walk you work it into your muscle and by the end of the day you will not feel it. Get it in your arm and it will ache for 3-4 days. Please keep me posted. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
