I remember my first b12 injection. I was admitted to the hospital because my iron level was way too low. One morning my doctor came into my room and we talked about my condition and aferwords she took my chart and wrote something down and told me that I will be getting b12 during my stay. Later the nurse came in and gave me my regular pills, but there was no b12 among them. I asked her what about b12? She told me that it is an injection and it is going into my butt. I was petrified!
I was having lunch when the other nurse came into my room holding a syringe. I still remember it clearly. It had very big needle, blue cape and was filled with red medicine. That small syringe of 5mL filled from top to bottom looked to me like a 20mL syringe which scared me even more. The nurse asked me to lie on my bed facing down which I did because i knew it will be harder for both of us if I don't cooporate. She pulled down my sleeping pants and underwear. Than she cleaned the area where she will poke. I felt her arm squeezing my butt and than stabbing which wasn't painfull just uncomfortable. I was surprised that it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I started breathing more easily bacause I thought it was over. But then she started to push the medicine. It was like fire going through my muscule. I squzeed the pillow as hard as I could, but I didn't cry or scream. Nurse was very gentle, so except the burning part everything else was ok. I remained lying on my stomach for another 15 minutes because the side where she poked me felt very wierd and numbed. I was given 4 more shots, and afterwords once a month. I was 16 than, and that was my first butt shot in 13 years.
Today after being poked so many times I have no fear of needles.

My mom took me to the doctor so I could get my physical for college.The doctor comes in and does the exam and tells me the nurse will be in to give me the papaer work and a tetanus booster. We are sitting there when this male nurse comes in and closes the door. I can see he has a syringe in his hand. He gives my mom the paper work and tells me I need to I need to bend over the table and drop my jeans. I am going to give you a shot in your butt. I am 17 and and I am embarrased. I look at my mom and she said you heard the nurse take down your jeans. I unzip my jeans and lower them a little. He comes over and pulls them down and then he pulls down my panties. I am bent over and my bare butt is fully exposed. I feel him wipe this cold alcohol pad and I tense up my butt cheek. Without warning he gave me a hard smack and when I quickly relaxed he jabbed me with the needle and injected. My mom is laughing. Your such a wuz. He put a bandiad on my butt and pulled up my panties. I was really mad that he had slpped my bare butt so hard. He said next time I give you a shot I will just poke you. You never felt the needle stick did you. Once he said that I realized why he did it and apologized for being such a baby.

My new boyfriend is a ER nurse and we went fishing yesterday and i got a fish hook in my hand. After we got done and went home he told me I needed a tetanus shot since the fish hook was rusty. I said after dinner. We went out to dinner and then over to his house. I told him it made my arm really sore for a few days afterward. He said I was going to give it in your bottom. he said you have a large muscle mass there and when you walk you work it into your muscle so it is better absorbed. I watched as he opened a small syringe and draw up the med. I leaned over his lap. He flipped up my white skirt. he then pulled down my panties below my cheek. I felt his hands rubbing my bare butt cheeks and then the cold swab run across my skin. Then I felt him drive the needle into my butt and the sting. He pulled out the needle and squeezed my bun a few times and pulled up my panties. I stood up and sat on his lap and gave him a hug. I said that was not as bad as I thought. I told him I was more emabarrased showing my naked butt then getting the needle in the butt. He told me I had a very fine looking butt and that he was looking forward to giving me my flu shot in the same location. I have to admit today I have no soreness in my bottom.
