I recently went on a cruise over spring break. My girlfriend and I had been drinking the night before and the next day we hit rough seas. We both paid for it. We started vomiting and then had the dry heaves. We saw the nurse that we had met the in the evening and asked him if he had anything we could take. He asked for our room number and said he would be there in 20 minutes. he knocked on the door and I let him in and my eyes locked in on the four syringes he was holding. I said a shot, cant we have something by mouth. No and no. He said if you cant keep liquids down you will not be able to keep a pill down. You each will get one shot in each hip and this will last 4-6 hours and by then you should be okay. if you keep vomiting you could wind up in the sick bay with IV fluids. Her friend comes out of the bathroom wearing a t shirt and pair of bikini panties. I told Julie he was here to give us a couple of shots in our butt. She laid across the bed and pulled down her panties. I watched as he poked a needle in each of her butt cheeks and injected. She rubbed her butt a few times and got up and said go for it. I took off my jean shorts and laid across the bed. He pulled my panties down to my knees. I felt him rubbing the alcohol pad on my left butt cheek and then I felt him stab my cheek and injected. I screamed out Ouch!. I reached back rubbing my cheek saying do I need the other one. he slapped me across my right cheek twice and gave me the shot. This time I did not feel the needle. My butt was still stinging from his hand. I said why did you slap my butt so hard. Did you feel that injection. NO. Well it worked. He told us he would check on us in another hours that we might need one more dose. Luckily we did not get a second dose.
