Hi,
I have a question. Back in the 50's-60's doctors prepared the old glass type syringes by boiling them in water. If one were to do that today with the same glass syringe, would boiling it in water truly sterilize it and would using regular tap water be a risk? When doctors made house calls they didn't have an autoclave so they boiled regular tap water correct? How long would it have to stay in boiling water to consider it sterile? I'm not sure if they ever use the glass reusable syringes anymore, but I know they still sell them. I know that I was the recipient of many shots in the butt waiting and crying while the doctor boiled water...Thanks Tim
