Well said Michelle. I have been giving flu shots for me than 15 years. Most people do get theit flu shot in their arm. There are more people who are willing to get it in their bottoms after I explain that it hurts less especially the next day. if the person has a larger arm mass that is one thing , but there are a lot of girls with thin arms and little muslce so it does hurt less in their butt.

I got mine yeasterday in the hip and it did not hurt. I am 20 year old and normally don't like shots. I had worn a tight fitting blouse and I could not get my sleeve up. The male nurse told me I could get it in my butt. I lowered my jeans and he poked me in the butt and I hardly felt it. No pain.
