I seek to dream
And yearn to wander
Far beyond the stars.
I seek to fly beyond the realms
Where angels fear to tread,
Beyond this world
This meaningless existence
Where men have lost their wings.
Grounded they stand
Amongst the ruins
That could have been so grand.
All their dreams,
A dark discovery
Of that which they have lost.

I seek to roam
Amongst the worlds
That lie within my mind.
Of distant shores
And unworldly nights,
And suns that burn so bright.
Where mankind has reached its ultimate fate
The one within the whole.

O awful day
When man did lose
The wings he used to fly.
Godless now he dreams of war,
Of hate and greed and strife.
And in the end
When all is gone
He shall then realise
That all that�s done
And all to do
Remain beyond the stars.
