actually Shan, you can run the 5.80 class with a digital 7 box cause I run one too !!! You arent supposed to have the one that has traction control (7531) which nobody really has anyway. You can have a 7530T which is what I run. Also, if you do have a supposedly illegal box, they are outlawed in all classes. You can also come to us and aslong as its disabled, you can still run even that one. So please, come join us. I was very disappointed with the 5.30 deal, but I wasnt able to organize it well and nobody showed up except back half cars. I do respect you for organizing a class, it just amazes me at the fear yall have of chassis cars. I beleive that the good of the many out weighs the good of a few and I strive to include not exclude. NHRA almost went under because they had way more classes than racers to fill them, and only a few in each class could compete because there was no cap (index) thats why bracket racing came about because everyone can run. Index racers are bracket racers by the way, you just run the same dial in.
