I think the D-Motor sale team must have been instructed not to sell too many engines.
I looked at the D-Motor website and there is nothing new in "News" since Feb 2012. But in the documents section there are power graphs showing the engine now generates 85hp. The graphs compare power and torque with the Jabiru engine (D-motor better in both respects).
Then in the LAA mag (June 2012 page 19)there is a report on the Popham Microlight trade fair saying the engine has had the engine stroke increased to generate 90hp! I can't help thinking an easier mod to sell more engines would be to make it a drop in replacement for Rotax Rotax 582 owners who would prefer 4 stroke and no gearbox. - all they need to do is add a front "bed style" engine mounting bracket/boss. Perhaps they've done this but not bothered to tell us - I see from the picture in the LAA mag that the starter is now mounted above the engine rather than behind.
