Subject: 2011 Miss Mothman Festival Pageant - Only $40!!

The 2011 Miss Mothman Festival Pageants will take place Sept. 16 and 17 at the beautiful Point Pleasant Riverfront Park.

On Friday, contestants in the Teen/Miss/Ms./Mrs. will compete for the titles of Teen Miss Princess, Teen Miss Queen, Miss Princess, Miss Queen, Ms. Queen and Mrs. Queen. Optional award winners and runners-up also will be announced in each age group.

The pageant on Friday begins at 5 p.m. Contestants will need to arrive at 3 p.m. for registration and a brief rehearsal.

Phases of Competition include MOTH WEAR, EVENING WEAR and ON-STAGE INTERVIEW. There is no personal interview.

Every contestant will receive a participation award.

Vendors will be set up under the pavilion, selling their goods. There is no admission fee. Four baskets will be raffled off, and vendors also have donated items for raffle.

The audience will also have a chance to vote for their FAN FAVORITE. Votes are $1 each and the money will go toward the Mothman Museum. The winner of this will receive a nice crown and sash.

On Saturday, contestants in the Tiny/Little/Junior miss age divisions will compete for the titles of Tiny Miss Queen, Little Miss Queen, and Junior Miss Queen. EVERY CONTESTANT WILL BE CROWNED A MISS MOTHMAN FESTIVAL PRINCESS!!! No one walks away empty handed. Optionals and runners-up also will be announced in each age division.

The pageant begins at 11 a.m., with contestants arriving at 10 a.m. for registration and on-stage practice.

Phases of Competition include CASUAL WEAR and ON-STAGE INTERVIEW. Only one outfit is needed. NO PAGEANT DRESSES!

The audience will also have a chance to vote for their FAN FAVORITE. Votes are $1 each and the money will go toward the Mothman Museum. The winner of this will receive a nice crown and sash.
