Flushed and Forgotten

Written on May 14, 2019 (day after election)

Flushed and forgotten
The eight (8) went down the drain.

Otso deretso inidoro as prophesied
The citizen exercised their right of suffrage—It could not be denied…

..that Filipino voters have good intellect
They know whom to choose

Not deceived by vote- buyers
Or with the political aspirant’s sugar-coating as printed on flyers

Villar’s into agriculture and she proved that she really helped…,
Imee’s into improving the economy, promoting the Ilocano values that leads to prosperity—Good luck!

Lapid’s not only into horses, but honestly the Probinsyano TV series helped him a lot..

..Putting him in the limelight, (Lapid also experienced poverty in the early days of his life..good thing he ‘got back’ the slot.).

Bato is loved by the military and by those who support the anti-drugs campaign
Pia’s into good life-Sports, education. This left-handed lady’s charm made it once again

Tolentino, in the past, could have been ‘the senator who never was, but by G-d’s grace, he’s in the magic 12
Who else would I describe? Poe has always been the legacy of Fernando, the Pangalatok’s king of films
I hope, on the 12th , Nancy can make it,---This sacred voting which happened just recently is so credible..Thanks to Digong who greatly supports the vote’s integrity….

…that it would always be “May the best man win (in the voting process)….and may the groom complain (?) ….the his (groom) best man took the bride.”, (kidding aside.)
