When the president said that "their god is stupid", the Christian community took offense and demanded for a public apology.... threatening to withdraw support of his presidency..... Why is that? Are you insinuating a rebellion or civil disobedience?
Did the Lord actually took offense over that statement?
Its written in the Bible that as sin increaseth, so does grace increaseth all the more.... In fact we sing it in the Church, "the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His Mercy never come to an end, they are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness oh Lord"...
Then the council of Evangelical churches declared the President has crossed the line.... Of what? Arent you preaching about a God of faithfulness and without injustice, pure and upright is He? On what context do you say that he crossed the line? Did Jesus say, I paid for all of your sins... But only until this limit, beyond that there is no forgiveness anymore.... Wow.... Where do you draw the line between grace and sin?
I thought we are winning souls for Christ.... Now, it seemed that we are condemning a person of which we are not even sure as to whose god he is referring to....
You just actually took the bait for this to become a media frenzy... When dealing with issues that refer to our faith..... sometimes, SILENCE IS A VIRTUE....
