I hope, in my reasoning you won’t ‘wonder’ ‘why.

I think we won’t be disintegrated by Federalism
Instead, it will make us whole.

This is a challenge for each region to excel.

What one region has, it could always share to others who don’t have. What it does not have, (he/she may seek help from his/her ‘federal’ brother/sister.) because the Philippines will remain as one country should Federalism takes effect.. and crossing from one island to another after federalism comes into realization won’t require us passports.

We need not put the eggs in just one basket or the water in just one bucket to supply all those who feel hunger or thirst. Having these other baskets—the satellite baskets or buckets (or federal regions for that matter) is simply like delegating responsibilities like the style of Christ, having many disciples for Him to easily fulfill his tasks.

I always support Federalism.

I’d been to India (world’s biggest democracy)..and now India, like Israel, belongs to the Space Age.

What about us, the Philippines? Afraid that one family will control one region? (Everything will be done by voting so we need not fear.) It will be a fair play and all will play by the rules (except when one forcefully makes his/her own rules, in that case, he/she does not have someone to play with, which calls for a bitter consequence).

(I could have a wild imagination but if I were a foreign country wanting to have dominion over the Philippines, I would rather have the unitary government for the Philippines so I can easily talk to one person (that is, the central government) should I want to interfere or ‘have dominion’ (G-d forbid) on the Philippines—to the disadvantage of many Filipinos. In this case, if the country is ‘fragmented’ because of this Federalism, I could not easily interfere.). One foreign country can always have that hidden motive to ‘control’ if it strongly supports ‘No to Federalism.’

Trying Federalism is trying a new menu which one had never tried before. If one form of government or way of management does not work, then find another. Sometimes in doing experiments, trial-and-error is necessary.

If it works, good. If not, then find a better option, but I think, by now, Federalism is the best option.

In federalism, good, right and proper representation in politics can happen and the ‘Imperial Manila Doctrine’ will be finally eradicated.

Then here (in federalism) comes the ‘father’ slicing and serving the whole roasted or fried chicken equally, where the president (or the father) does good management like a good father of the family, where he does not serve or give to one child one slice of fried or roasted chicken while to other, he only gives or serves fried egg.
