Camaraderie (Fiction)
By Carlo G. Soldevilla
Written on July 25, 2018

I don’t know how to meddle, when things don’t go well between the two
Grace accused Gloria of cheating..good that it did not result into a du (el).

“My dad, Fernando Poe should or must have won, he has the heart of the masses”
If not by way of cheating (?) , You, Gloria would have not made it.” —“The Presidential thrown, she (Gloria) amasses (?)”

Here comes Gloria, an economist, and so much concerned about projects, government to spend more for good and for various projects that she pushed for the pavement of highway – the SCTEX.
Policarpio was ‘her’ contractor..made that decent highway to be accessed by both the rich and the poor—so that they could easily go to Baguio where they can DRIVE & TEXT (?) –(No, don’t do this.).

The truth is Gloria is Digong’s close friend. “Digong, you’re the motorbike rider/driver..then I’ll be riding (back ride) as you tour me around Davao City.”
These two (2) Cebuanos were enjoying the ride. “See, Madam Glo, how peaceful is my city.” This friendship’s built through time—The two sharing a good camaraderie.

Note: I don’t know if ‘The Two’ would be the better title for this poem.
