The Biker's Poem

Composed on March 26, 2013

I pedal with my two feet
while my sweat flows from my brow,
enthusiastically advocating
for a greener, brighter tomorrow.

Several miles I've trod without burning gas(es)
Isn't this worthwhile, showing kindness to the mass(es)?
My arms are firm as I handle the bar
Sometimes they relax as I travel thus far

If we make the bicycle our national vehicle, we won’t be headed to nowhere
but to the right place and at the right direction.
Then all the peoples of the world will follow us especially those who desire fresh air.
Bikers are truly rich because they see the earth's bounty.
When you bike, you 'escape' from thinking about the world's misery.
