L-rd, give us a President,
Who is truly a Filipino
In one’s heart and in one’s mind.

A President who knows how to think of others,
Who is selfless and kind.

A President who knows how to slice the cake,
And equally shares it with his children,

A President who knows how it is to be fair,
& who knows the value of sacrifice.

A President who is daring,
Who has mastered in uniting the nation,
Rather than dividing it.

A President who has a keen sense of history,
And who never dares to rewrite it.

A President who supports Federalism,
Where people can truly exercise their liberty
And participate as good citizens of the land.

L-rd, give us a President, who knows how to pray,
The one who has a listening heart and who won’t
cause dismay. Amen.
