On April 26, 2018, I thought of forming a group of artists who can paint, using any medium (oil, watercolor, acrylic, etc..) and whose hearts are geared toward protecting the Philippine environment. This group will later on be known as “Artists for Boracay (AB).”

The members of this group will be from age 2 to 95 (95, or depending on the life expectancy of the person).

Rules:
1. Beginning April 26, 2018 until the day Boracay reopens, each member must originally create at least one work of art and all these works created by the AB will be shown in the gallery in Boracay. The place or the gallery in Aklan will just be rented by yours truly. One work of art per artist must be displayed for all to have the equal chance or opportunity to expose their artistic skill or talent. The artist will have his/her choice whether his/her artwork will be only for display or for sale. In case his/her work will be for sale, the artist will be in direct contact with the art buyer. (I made one watercolor painting today which I will post at FB later.).
2. I would choose the name ‘Jewish Art Gallery’ as the name of the gallery in Boracay because of my Sephardic-Jewish roots. Eventually, this will be “Jewish Art Gallery-Aklan”. The first “Jewish Art Gallery” is located in Tarlac, --The “Jewish Art Gallery- Tarlac (Main).

3. I will be teaching for free or without charge on how to paint using water color. I will teach on-line.
4. The gallery will be open 24/7. The gallery entrance fee will just be 7 pesos per person and the income will be equally shared to all the members of the AB group.

So far, these are the few rules I have in mind. The gallery will see to it that all members will benefit from this concept. As this business runs (G-dwilling someday), the business motto of the AB will be: “The equation must be equal.” (quote of my father). Thank you.
