Carlo Soldevilla a cut and paste.. from my friend, Luvin--Luvin Candari: I often used the family analogy.

A unitary governmentsl system is like a family where the father controls almost all. Income of working children will remitted to the father and the father will then decide who receives this much for whatever. He may return 20% of the kids sweldo as allowance but that authority belongs with the father.

With the federal form, when kids have work, they share a portion of their incone with the father. Ex; They will retain 80% of their sweldo and give the 20% to the father.

Thats how a federal system works.

Carlo Soldevilla if you simplify his (Lina) explanation, how can it be explained? (Pls. do so-explaining...most likely, in 'ratio and proportion' style where one can easily understand (after finding the right answer).{ I have to listen to him (Lina) again.} Explain it like answering this question scientifically after you have searched or computed for the right answer with a clear solution: "3 cats can catch 3 rats in 3 minutes. How many cats can catch 100 rats in 100 minutes." Can you explain federalism like the way you will explain the answer in solving this problem? (I am taking a little bit of your time.). Maybe my math problem does not correlate to Lina's way of explaining things (federalism). hehe.
