These words I heard.. uttered by Gordon to his countrymen, during the dengvaxia hearing—so pleasing to the ear.

The pragmatic senator sees things black and white. He knows the value of money.
Gordon knows what hardship means (during Pinatubo eruption) and what catastrophe can bring

Gordon stood the test of time, and he showed good leadership. He, together with the people of Olongapo, faced the challenges in Subic.

Check and balances in the government is good.

I’m still reminded of Henry Kissinger’s words..about his wish or desire…that children won’t go to bed with an empty stomach.

Which is better? Spending for dengvaxia or spending for food?

Reflecting on this, I want to see a good government spending money for the right thing.
