Make Your Own Conclusion

Written on November 10, 2017

Driving is not easy, especially, the motorcy (cle).
I had experienced 3 motorcycle accidents with my own motorbike

For them (Ankasers) to earn money, it won’t be easy.
Admittedly, they will compete with UBER , GRAB , other franchisee but not with LTFRB.

The motorcycle fare is less, and one thing good: accessibility and mobility
In one word, it offers something good but it also compete with other businesses. Healthy?

In a world of capitalism, competition is normal..only that the government has to earn by way of taxes
One motorcycle driver’s reason is good: “I just work 8 hours..and I needed extra income.. so I suggest:

Make a ‘speedy ‘ proposal on the government side, about how the habal-habal can help the economy by entering into the ‘free market economy’.
There must be no monopoly in Capitalism. (Or you want it with sugar? Or with big bus transporation businesses?)

One can work, one can honestly earn and she/he may compete. That’s normal and healthy for the economy, most especially for the good of the family.

Let all have the necessary licenses (and this must all be speedily obtained—within 3 days?) and the government just be regulatory and not to be so strict because motorcycle business, though dangerous, can provide employment and food for the table, too for those who will have it as their business.

Let the motorcycle riders have their ‘fare share’ by paying the right taxes.

The motorcycle drivers must continue with their good business, and earn money the hard way..Just notice

How much this franchising monopoly (?) is earning in having buses as their business to help people commute in Northern Luzon? Who owns these buses?

Would they allow cooperatives or a single person/s who have a bus to compete with them and to ply same route that their established bus companies ply or pass?

Or they alone have the monopoly to ply (enjoying the word ‘forever’)
If I own a bus, can I let it travel (by having a good driver) along their ‘franchised’ path? This may impose ‘threat’ to them. But same footing..they pay tax, I also pay tax ..but let us ply the same. But why they enjoy ‘forever?’.

King David had many and he dreamed ..which the prophet interpreted
A man already had many goats (?) or animal and he still forced that man having one goat..for him (that man) to sell his lone goat to him so he can have everything..actually He (David) forcibly got that lone goat.

And David asked the Prophet who’s that man in his dream, and the prophet told him: You (David) are that man.
Covetousness is taking what does not belong to you. Let the bible be our guide even in businesses, Amen?

I could not perfectly recall which story is this in the bible but I hope I’m right in pointing to David.

But in defense of the ‘small’ motorcycle drivers, let them drive, earn and be merry having ‘small’ dimes to keep. That would be all.

My usual phrase: We sometimes enjoy cutting the grasses knowing their nuisance..
..Not knowing that these small grasses which we removed.. the insects consider them as their forest. Hence (Make your own conclusion.)

Note:

I don’t know if ‘Hence’ would be a better title.
