 Constatamos que apesar das vantagens apresentadas ainda assim é necessário um conhecimento maior por parte dos usuários da microfilmagem de como usá-las adequadamente.
Embora haja uma lei que regulamente o uso da microfilmagem é necessáriorio verificar se o documento original não possui valor histórico. Neste caso não poderá haver uma eliminação.
Uma observação a ser feita é sobre o alto custo de obtenção e manutenção de equipamentos de microfilmagem tornando o seu uso restrito a quem tem poder aquisitivo.
