In reply to: Also Lost 's message, "Yup, just demonstrates the quality and caliber of people in this hobby, makes me just want to go out and buy an old copcar, restore it and join the brawl." on 07:47:45 12/14/02 Sat

They're just a couple of blow hard wackos. One is just slightly more whacko than the other. Neither of them has a show worthy car. They don't go to shows. Chris can't because he doesn't have a show car and Parks can't because he's been banned from every event in the country that has anything to do with police cars. Sure, BP went to a "show" last year, but there were only 5 vehicles that showed up and two of them were "in-service". Sorry, but that doesn't count as a car show in my book.

Bill Parks has made such a poor impression in the hobby on a national level through his actions here at copcar.com, ebay and the old copcruisers website, that he's the only guy in the country who can legally be arrested for trespassing if he comes to certain public events.

Canadian Chris on the other hand is like one of those obnoxious little Pekinese dogs that just won't stop yapping and jumping all the time. His whole idea of the police car hobby is based on running the quarter mile in 15 seconds and determining how much horsepower a car loses at the rear wheels and that the 77 Ford was the best car ever made in the whole wide world becausing his uncle said so.

This last week or so on the board brought out Bill and Chris' true colors. They demonstrated that they are absolute blithering dorks who don't know a single thing about the hobby and getting together with friends at shows and admiring the work, money and effort that other people have put into their cars and just plain have having fun. Isn't that what it's all about anyway? Fun. That's why I do it.

You can take it to the bank that they're not welcome at any show I'm associated with- not even as a spectator.

The only time those guys have been in a copcar is in the back seat. (NT)bruce bailey00:24:37 12/15/02 Sun
