Most of the local agencies here piggyback off of us for training. And sine the Army’s recent light of Domestics, guess what. We all get to go back to school to re-learn what we already knew. And then there’s comes our K-9 and SRT (ERT/SWAT). Every body in the state comes here, and some from out of state to be trained. And that little thought that all we do is police up drunk GI's, that’s about as far from it as you might think. We have one of the largest gang data banks, and not mention here at my post (can't say which one do to some stupid little Army rule) we have about 20 miles of state road, and 6 miles of Interstate that we work. NOT THE STATE TROOPERS. And my little bass with its population of just over 90000 never has any crime other than drunks as you can see.
