Patrick, where are you from?

If you have ever taken a drivers education course or spoke with any emergency personnel (i.e. Police, Fire, or EMS) you would know that you are REQUIRED to move over for an emergency vehicle regardless.

I know of at least one state, (Arizona, if I'm wrong let me know) that patrol cars follow other emergency vehicles to a call to find pull over and ticket people who do not yield.

Or you can think of it this way, when a Emergency Vehicle is runing with lights and sirens they are most likely on the way to help save someone's life. It would be a common courtesy to move over and let them through. You never know when you might be in the back of a ambulance heading for the hospital and having to wait for someone who isn't pulling over "because he doesn't have the right lightbar colors."

True, only one states emergency vehicles, is not in other states. It’s always goes back to NY, not giving vol fire fighters as emergency vehicles, and they run blue, to ask for a curtsy, that no one has to give to them. (NT)Patrick17:01:07 12/12/02 Thu

Note; Arkansas is home, but I haved lived in TN, Ky, NC, and soon to be moved to NY. Thank god for the Army. (NT)Patrick17:03:04 12/12/02 Thu
