The only reason Ford is getting so much press over the fuel tank problems is that they are the only ones making a car that a police dept actually buys. Chevy is long gone and Dodge is off to a sputtering stop, if either of them could field a decent car they would have the same problem when somebody hits them at 90 MPH. Did you read the part where they say that the divider screen is causing back injuries in collisions? Again the installation of equipment is poorly thought out and poorly installed. Next up.....lawsuits aimed at equipment manufacturers and installers. No emotional BS justs facts, can you take it? I want car driving Police officers to be safe but some of these add-ons for the cars and some of the practices of stopping in traffic are just silly and unsafe. One person getting injured or killed is one too many.
