Correct me if I am wrong:
But, according to Ed Sanow: NO highway patrol/state police agency used the Fairlane in 1966 as their primary squad car.
Besides: aside from the obvious........a 289 V8 as vs. a 390? Plus, the first year that disc brakes were available was 1967 not 1966. Even if the discs were a late year option, the master cylinder depicted is for a 1966 back drum brake application anyway.
