These cars certainly don't like going over medians, school parking lot curbs or anything else that doesn't resemble flat pavement or real world police use/abuse. They hate hitting deer usally 2k per accident had to write a MVA report for one member last week (ouch). I figured he was hunting deer via Crown Vic. Yeah those stupid bumper covers rip all the time especially in cold weather. Yeah that fuel pod is another stupid Ford design, what a place to put them. We had to re-blacktop our parking lot as all our cars have to be back in to make jump starting easy and to avoid idiots who like using it for a short cut. Seems they like to become dislodge from catching the curb. In my cars case it just fell off, I think this is the third time. Heck they are police cars they should be able to take some abuse. The earlier models were better except for that stupid plastic bumper cover.
