As to putting decals on your car, and related equipment. I would contact the public information officer as the earlier post said. I would assure them that it will NOT be driven on the street marked in any way. If I got permission to mark a vehicle and drive it on the street I wouldn't do it. It is too easy to get accused of pulling someone over, or some nut trying to shoot you thinking they are shooting at an officer. It is just not worth it! Not to mention it is a definite "black eye" on the hobby. Most of the people in this hobby either trailer their cars if they are permently marked, or use magnetic "removable" decals and remove them and any emergency lights before they drive it on the street. The exception would be an owner who works for the agency his car represents. My car's equipment is all removable and it doesn't go anywhere on the street marked unless it is for a parade or some related function. My 2 cents...
