There are plenty of people here on the board with vintage restorations and they bring them to as many shows as they can each year. And as much as you may not like it, the late model cars owners are also a sizeable part of the hobby.

What type of antique police car have you built and when will its next show appearance be?

Why would I want to try and do something with an engine-less, wrecked and rusted out hulk when I can go out and buy myself a near new car and easily find a strobe bar for the roof and I'm ready for a show? I wouldn't even know where to begin and at my age, I've never even seen a 1970's police car. By the way, anybody know why my car has green hoses? (NT)Caprice Guy09:44:08 07/05/02 Fri

Its the challenge of bringing it back to life. Sure just about anyone can go and buy a CV or Caprice, have you seem many original Fury police cars lately. Yes he's going to have some work but I would tend to think its a hell of a lot more satisfying to have a car when its done that not many people have. It kinda like big game hunting w/o a gun. Oh your hoses are silicon thats why they are green. (NT)been there done it would do it again12:34:31 07/05/02 Fri

ahhh they're green cause you can see'em better... (NT)Ben12:37:00 07/05/02 Fri
