I think its absolutely fantastic how you are dealing with your little boygirl.

Tights are an amazingly influential item of clothing. I've seen it with my own lad, when he got introduced to them; while he objected at first, I noticed very soon he was constantly looking at his legs and feeling them. At 9 years old, it was only a couple of weeks before I noticed him wearing the green tights I got him for a costume under his jeans one winter's day. They were quite thick tights and looked like socks if you didn't notice the length, but I knew they were the tights right away. He blushed when I commented on it, but I assured him it was perfectly normal for boys to wear them, especially in winter.

I found many pictures online just using google of very normal looking boys wearing tights in all sorts of situations; playing at home in tights and a Tshirt, under dressy shorts for weddings etc, even as part of school attire (Japan). Once warmed up to the idea, it was a short time before he had a drawer full of many-colored tights. "I like how my pants feel over top of my tights, Mommy" was one comment. He loves having the fact he is wearing them brought up; last week, I was tickling his feet (he was wearing a pair of red cotton tights under a pair of pants) and while playing with him, I went to pull down what I thought were his red socks; "Mommy, you can't pull them off, I'm wearing tights! (Giggle)".

So cute!
