Subject: Laura's Christmases

What is your favorite LHOP Christmas. I'm thinking more of from the books, but if you have TV show favorite, that's good too. I'm thinking of the one where Laura and Mary got a new cup. I think Mr. Edwards brought it to them, but it's been a while since I read it. I need to go through my LHOP books and go over all the Christmases. I'm sure there are other moments that I really enjoyed reading about.
I know in Farmer Boy their Christmas was a lot more plush, for lack of a better word, than Laura's Christmases, but in their way Laura's were just as festive.

Hi Ann, I love all of their Christmases, the fact they are so simple and not filled with the commercialism of Christmas as we know it these days is just SO refreshing. But I think my favourite is Little House in The Big Woods when the cousins and Uncle Peter and Aunt Eliza come to stay. I guess the fact that they spend that Christmas with extended family makes it extra special and cosy. The food preparations are really yummy too. I also like reading about their Christmases because they have mostly snowy Christmases and personally I have only ever know heatwave Christmases here in Australia!
