Subject: Birthday

It was my daughter Laura's birthday today, she was ten, we had a wonderful day out with her friend. We went over to my
old home and went to a few touristy places as it's a tourist resort. We went up Blackpool Tower, right to the top -412 feet up, not bad for me as I don't like heights anymore!! I could just make out where I used to live, it was a lovely clear day so the view was wonderful, as it's on the coast, you could see right out to sea. Don't know if anyone has heard of it??

What state is it in? I forgot where you live. It sounds like you all had a great day. We went to a resort last weekend and had a great time.

Yes, Blackpool is in Lancashire, the tower was designed by the same man who did the Eiffel tower in Paris, but it's much smaller. I live in another town now but go back now and again. Lancashire is nice, I guess you take it for granted when you live somewhere, we are close to the yorkshire border where I live now.
