Hey there all! I'm not doing such a great job of keeping in touch, am I? Sorry about that. I still fondly remember the good ol' days of posting like crazy people, late night IM chats, and huge debates with, um ... what were they called? Dingleberries or somesuch thing? Ah well, life gets busy doesn't it?! Delilah, I miss you terribly, girl! And where is Miz Kelly these days? Anyone hear from her?

I *think* the new LHOP show is due to start as a regular series in the fall. Did you see any of the mini-series?

Hi Ann! Yes, we're finally thawed out, now we're just dealing with major floods (the 1 in 200-year varieties), evacuation alerts, tornadoes and mosquitoes. It never ends.
I saw one part of the mini-series, thought it was a little too, I dunno, dramatic (?) (for lack of a better word) for my taste. Maybe a regular series would tone down the theatrics! What did you think of the mini-series? Is my opinion off-base d'you think?

It was rather melodramatic, but that was probably because it was a mini-series rather than a regular series. One thing I noticed (or thought, anyway) was that to me "Charles" and "Caroline" seemed to be trying to mimic Michael Landon and Karen Grassle's speech patterns. But then, wasn't one of Michael Landon's sons who produced this mini-series?
I almost wish that instead of going back and doing LHOP over from the beginning they would pick up where it left off and start with The First Four years and go from there.

Hey welcome back glad to see you here!! Wheres Mindy? I havent seen her post here in a long time.
I read on some websites that theres not going to be a new LHOTP series. I was kind of suprised when I met the cast they were complaining about no Carrie in the movie.
Dean Butler is really into the real LIW and he watched all 6 hours of the movie he said. Most of them know quite a bit about the real LIW. And Dean is working on a special project with LIW in DeSmet right now.

Nice to see you around. Been hearing about your weather. I'm NOT jealous. What do you think of the Canadian live 8 line-up? Same old people.
I have officially read that the Little house show has been cancelled. I have to admit I only watched part of the 1st and 2nd episodes then no more. I was..bored I guess. I suppose I might've compared the show to the first LHOTP show. But i enjoy watching the original even if the stories are a little, sorry a lot "out there".

Were they planning on making new episodes? I saw the ratings and they weren't too bad for a Saturday night showing. I thought the series was cute. I enjoyed it and would liked to have seen more.
