First of all, if you can get your hands on Looking for History on Highway 14 you should get it. Kellie was trying for a LONG time to get it but they had stopped printing it. From what I remember hearing though it isn't all about Laura but several historic sites. I don't have the other 2 either so I can't help you out but wanted you to know about the one!

You may have to cut and paste links:

1. Looking for History on Highway 14 has been reprinted by South Dakota State Historical Society Press with a new introduction by author John Miller, so it's readily available again, even at walmart.com. There is a chapter about each of the little towns on the highway from (I think) Elkton at the MN state like, to Brookings, where Miller lives, to Wall, South Dakota. Chapters include photos, local history, etc. Good to have if you're planning to make the drive. You will have probably read the De Smet infomation elsewhere.

2. LIW and the American Frontier contains the papers read at the LIW symposium held at Herbert Hoover Library in September 1998. You can order it directly from HH. Papers by Anita Clair Fellman ("The Little House Books in American Culture"), John Miller ("Approaching Laura Ingalls Wilder: Challenges and Opportunities"), Elizabeth Jameson ("Unconscious Inheritance and Conscious Striving: Laura Ingalls Wilder and the Frontier Narrative"), Ann Romines ("The Frontier of the Little House"), and Ann Weller Dahl ("Laura Ingalls Wilder: An Elementary School Teacher's Perspective"). http://www.hoover.archives.gov/giftshop/Booksvideos/books-videos.htm

3. LIW Historic Highway Guide by Mile Gleue -- He is President of the Pepin County Economic Development Corp. There is no new LIW history in this book, only the most basic of facts (for example, it says multiple times that Laura Ingalls was born on February 7, 1867). The book contains 7 chapters and really is a "highway guide" -- mostly info about places to stop and see along the highway - historic sites, forts, stores, campgrounds, museums, cheese factories, etc. No maps, no addresses, but includes phone numbers (go figure) -- he seems to assume you're going to be in your car driving along with this book and simply SEE what he wants you to see. Gleue self published the book through Xlibris.com. Chapters are on WI upper coulee country and Mississippi Valley, Mississippi Valley and Bluff Country Iowa, Minnesota River Valley, Prairieland in MN and SD, Festivals and Pageants (not just LH), the LIW Highway (with info on buslines, coach tours, etc.), and Visitor info and contacts (Chamber of Commerce phone numbers, etc.)
