Old Friends

I went into a site over here in the UK last week-for finding old friends from schools,workplaces. I was pleased to find a few familiar names from my Junior school and have been able to contact them after 29 years!! It's been great to hear from them and find out about what they have been upto, some have left my old home town and others are not so far away from where they always lived. It's been fun reminising and I been able to remember everyones name from my class---well after a while!! Has anyone done this?

I've done this. About a year ago I came across one and found one of my best friends who moved to another state. We now e-mail each other a lot and have called each other(though I don't like the long distance bills).

I joined the UK site in January, since then I've got in touch with two of my best friends from primary school, both of whom I lost contact with over 12 years ago. We now keep in regular email contact. Fantastic.

I signed up for classmates.com and have gotten in touch with a lot of former classmates, and even a few people that I knew only slightly (email is a great way to contact an acquaintance), and most of them responded. It's been great fun catching up!
Though classmates.com has grade school, high school and college listings, it is only through the high school listing that I've made any contact.
