Here are some quotes from Newsweek magazine about FH:
"It takes less than 40 minutes for the first person to start crying."
"...forget about British stoicism [referring to 1900 House]. Americans whine. Americans cheat. Americans have no compunction about complaining that the frontier is *ruining* their sex life, among other marital woes."
My favorite quote from the article: "PBS thought FH would be LIW come to life. What it got was Little Grouse On the Prairie."
"...the Clunes and Glenns {two of the three families on FH] become the Hatfields and McCoys...Six months after leaving FH [they] still can't stand each other."

Sounds like a "Survior" type show!
