Subject: The Waltons programme (UK)

Just seen that there's a programmes about The waltons's on ITV on Sunday at 8pm here in the Uk- a reunion programme of the cast on the set, altogether again, telling us what they've been upto. There is a picture of the grown up children in one of my magazines, John boy hasn't changed too much,can't believe it started back in 1974 wasn't that the same time as LHOTP series??

I think Valerie was wondering if the series were out at the same time. That answer is yes,they both aired in the 1970's. Little House was based on the time as the Fronteir House and the Walton's were based in the 1930's or 40's.(except with the reunion shows. They jumped too much ahead in time with some of them as with the ages of the characters and what was going on didn't match up.)But for airing dates they were the same.

Yes I though it was showing at the same time. I've seen a couple of clips from it,it mentions what they are doing now.
The actress that played mary Ellen is now in canada and is a scientologist,Elizabeth is a teacher, Ben has his own company and the actor who played Jason is still a musician,I was very surprised to read that he actually came from Blackburn in Lancashire,where I now live!!

Sorry - what I meant was, the programme is on ITV at the same time that Frontier House is on Channel 4 on Sunday evening. Typical programme arrangement by the powers that be! Most people interested in one will be interested in the other.

Did anyone get to see the programme? what did you think?
I enjoyed it, it was nice to see the "children �together again.I thought" Erin was nice, they seemed to have really enjoyed their time on the programmes, only Jim Bob was quieter about it, he was more introverted even after the series. Nice to see they had all gone on to do other things, not all acting. Richard Thomas certainly doesn't look fifty!

Was it called a Walton's Reunion? I'm not sure if I have seen this. Anyone in the states know when this aired here?
