Why didn't Charles and Caroline name there first girl Caroline?? and why they waited until the third child was born to name her Caroline?

Not sure.. I'm sure they didn't run out of names...
I really have no idea. I never knew Carrie was short for Caroline. I wonder whose idea it was to give her that name.
