Beyond The Prairie...

Girls, I posted the other day that I had not seen the movie. I was wrong... remembered every bit of it when I watched it last night. It was pretty good..had a hard time looking at the lady who played Laura and believing it was her, but other than that, it was a nice enjoyable movie.

LOL Cindy! I re-recorded it. I had made a copy from Kellie's tape which was REALLY bad so I was happy to record over it. Garrett and I were getting ready for bed and he turned the TV on - thus being forced to watch it He made several comments to me - the one that cracked me up the most was the scene where Laura and Almanzo go to that old chimney to have sex for the first time. Garrett got REALLY upset by this and said, "Laura didn't do THAT, did she????!!!" I was rolling!

LOL, Jennifer! Ok, let's think here... first.. was Garrett thinking that she was too much LAURA to have sex... or did he mean that the EVENT itself never took place? And that is a good question..DID it ever take place?

I *think* he meant that Laura would never have just gone out to a field and had sex! LOL!!!! So the EVENT never would have taken place! And come to think of it... women didn't, uhhh, enjoy it back then did they? So would they have been sold bold and naughty do DO something like that???

Well, they didn't *talk* about enjoying it, but that doesn't mean they didn't, lol. But as for the scene you described, seems as if Laura was too "proper" for that. :)
