Subject: Hey, remember me?

Hi, sorry I haven't been here for ages. Having finished my Master's dissertation way back in September ('Vanity Conquers All? Pioneer women and dress'), I've been dropped in at the deep end and am now 6 weeks into my PhD on women in the Scottish Highlands in the eighteenth century. I haven't heard whether I've passed my dissertation yet - I'm a little worried as I had some major problems near the end.
Hopefully there'll soon be a description of my PhD research and a photo of me on my departmental web page - I'll post the url once it's on. My supervisors have been keeping me very busy which is why I haven't been around, but I haven't forgotten you, and have been dropping in now and again to lurk.
