Please continue to pray for my little grandson Nicco. Nicco, who is now 4 1/2 years old,
was diagnosed with an inoperable brainstem tumor December 1st of 99, just 2 months
before he turned 3. After 11 months of heavy chemo, he could not even walk. At this
point the doctors were worried the tumor was growing again and put him on 6 weeks of
radiation. A month later when he had his next MRI the Dr's realized that the tumor had
been shrinking all along. They say they can not explain this..
But we know that all the prayers for Nicco has been heard, and that is why the tumor has
shrunk.
Unfortunately Nicco's last MRI showed the tumor stopped shrinking, so he still needs a
lot of prayers.
Right now Nicco is on daily oral chemo for a year. He is slowly regaining his strength
after the heavy chemo and is now walking again, although he is unsteady, and he plays
a lot with his sisters. He is in good spirits and is looking forward to start preschool in
the fall. He has a lot of catching up to do.
Please pray for Nicco that he will be completely well again and that the tumor will be
gone.
