Jeanette,
Please pray for my daughter and her family...She has two very
young children while her husband is a free-lance artist. He's
working on a rendering at present, but they have no money at
all. Last two nights she has come over w/ the kids whom I fed. I
sent her home w/ food bags from our own shelves and pampers for
each...They were in their last pamper each...They feel they have
to sell everything in their house as well as sell the house to
make ends meet w/ the house payment and car payment, etc.
Pray for monies to come in to save the roof over their heads and
the car...Pray for the husband to get a regular job if
necessary. She wanted to work but childcare would take all she
would make. They were in a situation last spring that almost
ruined their marriage and she has been faithful to maintain and
persevere. We have helped as much as we can, but feel the Lord
needs to teach the husband more responsibility and commitment to
his family. We still help w/ the food as it is.
We have other children w/ serious needs. Our oldest is due for
the foot surgery at present in October. Earlier we had requested
prayer for a permanent job that she can sit down--she's in the
training program at present and the operation will probably be
rescheduled after her 90-day probation work time. We are
praising the Lord for the provision for this. Now, we need to
pray thru her expenses of rent, car, insurance, etc. for the
next month, as her next paycheck will be in about 3
weeks...Also, pray for complete healing of both her
feet--degenerative joint disease...We are expecting a miracle
here. She's a sweetie and has worked hard for years--also a
faithful servant of the Lord.
Our son will be driving down this weekend for the holiday from
his Marine base in NC. Pray for his safety and well-being. Also
pray for him to turn his life over completely to the Lord. His
name: Alan.
Our two teen daughters for deliverance and peace in the house.
They need good grades. The eldest is doing better w/ her
homework but the younger has been horrible lately to behavior
and hyperactivity.She's not doing her homework--staying focused
on one task is difficult. Meds were resumed two wks. ago and
they are testing her this week for ESE...(We think she will not
qualify bec/ she's really smart--but she may by the behavioral
problems she's having--very oppositional.)
For my husband to be able to sell on a new job that's based on
commission--selling houses, etc. The other job seems to be
closing, the Lord told him last month it would and it's coming
to pass quickly.
As I pray over the list daily from your group and the others, I
sometimes think our needs are not as great as the life
threatening ones...but I know our Lord is faithful...Thanks for
your time in the Holy Spirit power intercession. May the Lord
bless you greatly.
