Hi my name is Jim, I need people praying for my family and I. Long story short. My kids moved in with me in August 2000, at their moms request (my ex-wife). My kids are now 15 & 16 1/2 and haven't lived with me since 1 1/2 and 3 yrs. old due to our seperation/divorce in 1987-88. My ex-wife ended up going to prison from Jan. 2001 and should get out April 21st (this weekend). My son moved to his Aunts in January thinking I was to strict (and also I wouldn't allow his use of illegal drugs). My daughter is still with me. My kids are supposed to move in with their
Mom once she gets out of prison, but she has no money, she was on disability, but lost all her benefits while in prison, and social security checks. I found out through a brief conversation with my daughter that her
Aunt (and possibly mother) want a copy of divorce decree. My concern is that
the Aunt maybe trying to get custody of my kids (or atleast my
son) and/or
might be trying to get my kids back from me and increase my
child support.
My wife and I both work full-time jobs (out of necessity), are
good stewards
of our money, and are good parents to my children, and we love
and serve the
LORD. Basically we are a typical struggling lower middle class
income
family. An increase in Child support would put a financial
strain on us.
Please pray against all this and that my ex-wife and I would
work things out
with out going to court. And also that the Aunt would stop
interfering in the
situation. Nothing has gone to court, please pray we can stop
this chaotic
attack on me and my kids. We offer them a good Christian
environment and
proper housing, etc. Also please pray as I believe the LORD is
calling me to
full-time ministry and I believe the devil has brought attack
after attack on
my family to try to hinder my moving out into the ministry and
also from
giving my kids a better environment to live in.
