Subject: Looking into producing a single-title, very glam pageant for "older" ladies and want your input.... What would you suggest as the minimum age? This would be a single title pageant; should it start at 40? 45? Something else? With the right criteria could someone near (or over) 60 compete fairly with someone 42? What time of year would be best? Venue would likely be in the DFW area, so it's hot in the summer, and there are so many pageants in the summer. Is that still best or would Spring or Fall be better? Have it a 2 day event with interviews in morning and EG fitness at night for the first night and finals the second night. It would be nice to have a fee of $500 no madatory ad which i think would catch the attention of a large group of women.

Being honest - You simply are not going to get a level playing field between a 42-year-old body and a 62-year-old body. That is simply nature. If you want to do swimwear, that is fine, but if you want to attract an age range between 40-70 and have it be 100% fair, then you need to swap out fitness/swimwear for a talent or presentation category.
